Obituary
Here is the life sketch I came up with for the obituary and
for Lazell to draw from on Monday. Let me know of any
changes anyone wants to make. Also, some of the years and
numbers will need to be filled in. You may want to email
the final draft to Lazell to give him a glimps of it so he
can have a chance to prepare his remarks. I love you. See
you soon.

Larry Golden Forsberg, 50, of Greenleaf, was suddenly taken
from us on Wednesday, July 26 at West Valley Hospital in
Caldwell.
Larry was born April 22, 1950 in Logan, Cache, Utah, the
first son of Golden and Fern Mauchley Forsberg. He grew up
in Nibley, Utah, graduating from Skyview High School in
1968.
Larry served a faithful mission for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1969 to 1971 in
Switzerland. He spoke fondly of his time there and still
spoke fluent German.
In January 1972, Larry was married and sealed to his
sweetheart, RaNae Ormond, from North Logan, Utah in the
Logan LDS Temple for time and all eternity. They have been
married for 28 years.
Throughout his life, Larry strove to be a good provider for
his family. Many times he held more than one job to ensure
the family's needs were taken care of. Larry developed a
great desire to serve as a peace officer, and as he worked
for the Logan City Police Department, he graduated from the
Police Academy at Weber State University. Larry worked in
Law Enforcement for 16 years, retiring from its rigorous
demands in 1996, where he was a Sergeant for the Canyon
County Sheriff's Office. During the past few years, Larry
worked at MCMS in Nampa.
Larry was and is a beloved father, son, and grandfather. He
enjoyed fishing, laughing, gardening, sports, and serving in
his Church Ward. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his
family---no matter what he was doing. He spoke often of his
grandchildren and children, and beamed with pride over their
accomplishments.
Larry is survived by his wife, RaNae Ormond Forsberg of
Greenleaf; his father Golden of Nibley, Utah; sisters Gene
Williams of Boise and Diane Forsberg of ______, Oregon;
brother Ernest John Forsberg of Newton, Utah; sons Michael
Larry Forsberg of Nampa, Justin Shane Forsberg of Provo,
Utah, and Eric Golden Forsberg of Provo, Utah; daughter
Heidi RaNae Epps of Boise; and four grandchildren: Brandon
Michael, Kristina Mishima, Cameron Ray, and Emma.
He will be dearly missed by all. We anxiously await our
chance to reunite with him.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 31st at the
Caldwell Stake Center?, (address here), at 11:00am. Viewing
will be held from (time here), and on Sunday? from (time
here). Also, a graveside service will be held at the burial
site at the Millville Utah Cemetary at (time here). Friends
and acquaintances are strongly encouraged to attend.
